A rover was a type of robotic vehicle used in space exploration.

On July 4, 1997, the NASA rover Sojourner became the first rover on Mars. By 2155, the Mars Historical Preservation Society had located the now-derelict rover and erected a monument near it to honor that achievement. (ENT: "Terra Prime")
