Ron Veto was an actor of Hawaiian origin, who portrayed Harrison in the first season of the the original series. Apart from his role in Star Trek, he played bit parts in a number of films, including King of Kings, starring Jeffrey Hunter, and several Elvis Presley movies. He passed away in 2008.
Veto's son is also active in the filmmaking business, mostly behind the camera, as a steadicam operator and cinematographer, on numerous projects.
