Ronald "Ron" Stein is a stuntman, stunt actor, stunt coordinator, and director who worked as a stunt coordinator on Star Trek III: The Search for Spock.

In 1986 he won a Stuntman Award for his stunt coordination in the television series Airwolf.

Stein has performed and coordinated in films such as Stay Away, Joe (1968), MASH (1970, with Sally Kellerman, Rene Auberjonois, and Fred Williamson), The Magnificent Seven Ride ! (1972), Bound for Glory (1976), The Hills Have Eyes (1977, with Michael Berryman), Body Heat (1981), Rocky III (1982), Power (1986), Action Jackson (1988), Road House (1989, with Kevin Tighe, Anthony De Longis, and Patricia Tallman), Predator 2 (1990), Death Becomes Her (1992), Last Action Hero (1993), Courage Under Fire (1996), Godzilla (1998), The Flintstones in Viva Rock Vegas (2000, with Joan Collins, Kevin Grevioux, Ted Rooney, Jacqueline Case, Scott L. Schwartz, and stunts by Elle Alexander, Bobby Bass, Mark Chadwick, Max Daniels, Leslie Hoffman, Buddy Joe Hooker, Tommy J.
