Ron Roman is a writer who co-wrote the story with Michael Wagner and the teleplay with Michael Piller and Richard Danus for the Star Trek: The Next Generation third season episode "Booby Trap" in 1989. It was his only writing credit for Star Trek.

Roman's other writing credit was for a 1983 episode of Gimme a Break!, which had Star Trek performers Rick Fitts, Miriam Flynn and Robert Costanzo in its guest cast.
