Ron Frenz (born 1 February 1960; age 54) best known for co-creating "Spider-Girl" with Tom DeFalco, a regular collaborator of his. He began with Marvel Comics in the early 1980s, working on titles such as Star Wars, Further Adventures of Indiana Jones, and Amazing Spider-Man. He moved over to work with DC Comics in the late 1980s, working on various Superman titles.

His only Star Trek credits were drawings of "Richard Daystrom" (with Mike DeCarlo), and "Willard Deckard" and "Edith Keeler" (with Dick Giordano) from "Who's Who in Star Trek 1" and "Mirror Universe" (with Bruce Patterson), "Christopher Pike" (with Bob Smith), and "Janice Rand" (with Dick Giordano) for "Who's Who in Star Trek 2"
