A Romulan battle cruiser a type of warship utilized by the Romulan Star Empire during the 23rd and 24th centuries.
Two classes were known to use share this nomenclature: the D7 class battle cruiser, and the D'deridex-class Warbird. (TAS: "The Survivor" and TNG: "Contagion")
In 2364, a contingent of seven Romulan battle cruisers converged on a Federation border outpost. While the outpost called for reinforcements from the nearby USS Berlin and USS Enterprise-D, the encounter ended without incident. (TNG: "Angel One")
It is unclear which of the known classes, if any, of the above vessels belonged to, as they remained unseen in the aforementioned reference.
