The Rokat colony was a colony in the Cardassian Union.
In 2371, its communications relay was destroyed by the USS Defiant when it was stolen by Maquis operative, Lieutenant Thomas Riker. He was attempting to draw the Cardassian fleet away from his true objective, the Orias system where he believed an invasion fleet was being built. (DS9: "Defiant")
