The Rodulans were a group known for their art form called basotile.
Kivas Fajo owned the first one ever created, commenting in 2366 that it was centuries old. (TNG: "The Most Toys")
It is unknown if Rodulan refers to a species, a culture, or simply an art movement
The Rodulans were mentioned in the novel Rising Son as trying to recover a number of their earlier basotiles and offering good money for them.
