Robin Gammell is an actor who played Mauric in the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode "Attached". Other science fiction television programs on which he has appeared include Dark Skies (along with Star Trek: Voyager's Jeri Ryan) and Gene Roddenberry's Earth: Final Conflict.

Gammell was a regular cast member on the short-lived CBS series W.I.O.U. (1990-91), along with fellow Star Trek alumni Mariette Hartley, Phil Morris, Wallace Langham, and Harris Yulin. His other television credits include guest spots on Trapper John, M.D. (starring Madge Sinclair, in an episode with Salome Jens), L.A. Law (starring Corbin Bernsen, with Fran Bennett and Christopher Darga), Murder One (with Daniel Benzali, Barbara Bosson, John Fleck, Gregory Itzin, Stanley Kamel, Deborah May, and Vanessa Williams), Millennium (co-starring Megan Gallagher, Terry O'Quinn, and Bill Smitrovich), The Practice (an episode with Willie Garson, Natalia Nogulich, and Craig Wasson), and Nip/Tuck (an episode with K Callan and Michael Buchman Silver). He also had recurring roles on such shows as Wiseguy, Street Legal, and Judging Amy.

He has many feature films to his credit, the first of which was 1973's The Pyx, starring Christopher Plummer. His subsequent movie credits include 1976's Lipstick (co-starring Chris Sarandon, Meg Wyllie, and Bill Zuckert), 1979's The Promise (co-starring Trek film actors Bibi Besch, Stephen Collins, and Laurence Luckinbill), 1983's Nightmares (directed by Joseph Sargent, in a segment co-starring Tony Plana), 1987's Project X (with William Sadler, Shelly Desai, Michael McGrady, Dick Miller, and Daniel Roebuck), 1991's Guilty by Suspicion (featuring Roxann Dawson and Stephen Root), and 1998's Bulworth (co-starring Paul Sorvino and Sarah Silverman). He also had smaller roles in popular movies like Dave (1993, starring Frank Langella), Sister Act 2: Back in the Habit (1993, starring Whoopi Goldberg), Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery (1997, featuring Charles Napier and Clint Howard), and Contact (1997, with Tucker Smallwood).
