Template:Realworld Robert della Santina was the Unit Production Manager for Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. He occasionally served as Line Producer for the show's first two seasons but became the the full-time Line Producer at the start of season three. He was then elevated to Coordinating Producer at the start of the fourth season. He was known on the set of DS9 as "Bobby D".

Prior to his work on Deep Space Nine, he spent sixteen years working for Aaron Spelling Productions, working on such shows as The Rookies, Charlie's Angels, and Hart to Hart. He also served as second assistant director on the 1973 blaxploitation film Slaughter's Big Rip-Off, starring Brock Peters.

Santina's name can be seen on the dedication plaques of the USS Defiant and USS Valiant along with other production personnel. He was also listed as one of Ibudan's contacts in DS9: "A Man Alone".
