Robert Snyder is a freelance visual effects artist who worked as a digital compositor on the upcoming film, Star Trek.
Snyder attended the University of Florida from 1986 through 1992, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Creative Writing. In 2005, he entered he Gnomon School of Visual Effects' Certificate Program, which he passed the following year.
Since he began working in the visual effects industry, Snyder has been a visual effects plate coordinator on the science fiction comedy Meet Dave (which starred Eddie Murphy and Gabrielle Union) and the hit action sequel Live Free or Die Hard (which featured Tim de Zarn and Tim Russ). More recently, he was a technical coordinator and lead compositor The Spirit, based on the Will Eisner comic.
Snyder is currently the lead compositor on the upcoming film X-Men Origins: Wolverine, which features characters appearing in magazines published by Marvel Comics.
