USS Enterprise (alternate reality) under construction — The USS *Enterprise* under construction at the Riverside Shipyard in 2255

Riverside Shipyard was the Starfleet Shipyard 2-1A construction facility located in Sector 47 Riverside, Iowa, Earth. In the alternate reality, the USS Enterprise was constructed there in the 2250s. The shipyard was the location from where cadets for Starfleet Academy embarked. (Star Trek) The shipyard itself contains massive docking bays where shuttles containing cadets and officers are transported to ships docked in the orbital Earth Spacedock. (Star Trek)
