Rita was an unseen character from the Earth novel Hotel Royale by Todd Matthews.

Rita was the girlfriend of Mickey D and the object of affection of bellboy. Despite warnings from assistant manager, the bellboy pursued his interest in Rita and was killed by Mickey D. (TNG: "The Royale")
