Armand Jean du Plessis de Richelieu was a French Cardinal and politician during the 17th century.

When Sulu was under the influence of polywater intoxication, he considered himself to be one of The Three Musketeers like Porthos, Athos, or Aramis, and confronted Captain Kirk. Sulu exclaimed "Richelieu, at last" and that he fought for "honor, Queen and France." (TOS: "The Naked Time")
