Template:Realworld Richard Sabre is a Hair Stylist and Hair Designer who worked on several seasons of Star Trek: The Next Generation and the pilot episode of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, "Emissary". His work on Star Trek earned him two Emmy Award nominations for Outstanding Achievement in Hairstyling for a Series for the episodes "Haven" in 1988 and "Unnatural Selection" in 1989. He shared the latter one with hair stylist Georgina Williams. In 1993 he won an Emmy Award in this category for the episode "Time's Arrow, Part II" and shared it with Joy Zapata, Candace Neal, Patricia Miller, Laura Connolly, Julia L. Walker, and Josée Normand.

Prior to his work on Star Trek, Sabre worked as hair stylist on the television series Faerie Tale Theatre (1984), Valerie (1987), and Tall Tales & Legends (1985-1987, with Joy Zapata). He also worked as hair stylist on the comedy The Marrying Man (1991, with Janice Alexander, Jim Kail, and Monty Westmore), several episodes of Home Improvement (1991), and the comedy Mr. Saturday Night (1992, with Richard Alonzo, Hazel Catmull, Audrey L. Anzures, Steve LaPorte, Todd McIntosh, Mike Smithson, and Dayne Johnson). In 1992 Sabre won a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Achievement in Hairstyling for his work on the Disney channel series Adventures in Wonderland, which he shared with Tish Simpson.

His last known work in the Hair Department was the part of the hair designer on fourteen episodes of the drama series L.A. Law between 1993 and 1994. On L.A. Law, he worked with Trek artists Jill Rockow and Jacklin Masteran.
