Richard Ryder (20 August 1942 – 27 October 1995; age 53) was an actor who played a Bajoran security deputy in the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine episodes "Past Prologue" and "Babel".
Ryder's other television credits include guest star appearances in Dream On, Designing Women and Party of Five.
He also appeared in films such as Abuse (with Raphael Sbarge) and Forever Young (written and produced by J.J. Abrams, with Eric Pierpoint and J.D. Cullum).
