Richard K. Berman was a Human Starfleet officer in the mid-24th century.
In 2364, he held the rank of commodore and was assigned to Starfleet Command. On stardate 41734.4, he sent a mission order about the Romulan Neutral Zone patrol schedule to Commander Samuel Freedle of Starbase Trailer Twenty-Nine. (TNG: "Conspiracy")
The character was never mentioned in dialog; the name came from a mission order.
Berman was named for Co-Executive Producer (as of 1988) Rick Berman.
