He co-starred with Reg E. Cathey, Christopher Carroll, David Clennon, Thomas Kopache, Lawrence Monoson, and Saul Rubinek in the acclaimed 1993 TV movie And the Band Played On.

More recently, Fancy had guest roles in episodes of Men of a Certain Age (2010, with Scott Bakula and Shelly Desai) and Melissa & Joey (2011) and reprised his role of Bernie Abrams in a 2011 episode of General Hospital.
