A restart sequencer was a component of the global power grid control system at the Division of Planetary Operations in Lisbon, on Earth.

In 2372, under orders from Admiral Leyton, Red Squad cadets sabotaged the restart sequencers after disabling the power grid, to make it appear as though a Dominion invasion was imminent. (DS9: "Paradise Lost")
