The Republic was an United Earth starship that was in service with Starfleet in the mid-22nd century. This ship was commanded by Captain Jennings.

Starfleet officer Erika Hernandez was posted to the Republic before her promotion to captain of the Columbia NX-02. Before Hernandez left, Jennings told her that she could take anything she wanted with her, prompting Hernandez to take his chef. (ENT: "Affliction")
