The Renaissance class was a type of starship in service with Starfleet in the 24th Century.
What is known about the Renaissance Class is that there the vessel contained no ASRV lifeboats on board the ship during it's initial run. Emergency craft such as the ASRV were first installed in the USS Hokkaido, and in subsequent refits of the Renaissance Spaceframe for the Dominion Wars, this subclass of the Renaissance Spaceframe was considered to be the Renaissance Class, Mark II.
