Regenerative force fields was a type of force field used by the Cardassians.

The Cardassian orbital weapon platforms were equipped with regenerative force fields. A central subspace power generator was used to feed power to all platforms. They proved impossible for Allied starships to pierce at the First Battle of Chin'toka. The central generator was also protected by a defensive grid. (DS9: "Tears of the Prophets")
