Lieutenant Reese was a security officer serving on Deep Space 9 in 2372. He was the highest ranking Starfleet officer serving under Michael Eddington. When Eddington left to join the Maquis, he left Reese in command of the station. Later, Reese arrested Kasidy Yates by order of Captain Sisko. (DS9: "For the Cause")
