Redspice was a spice native to the planet Vulcan used in cooking food.

In 2370, Gideon Seyetik served senior staff of Deep Space 9 a dinner of his creation made with two clusters of Vulcan redspice, Humat pods, Gremish, Rumall stock, Kalo root, Waroon, ice salt and pepper. The recipe took years to perfect, and Chief O'Brien wanted a copy. (DS9: "Second Sight")
