Ray Wise is an actor who had two Star Trek appearances.
He also appeared as "Leon Nash" in the 1987 science fiction film RoboCop (which co-starred Kurtwood Smith, Peter Weller, Ronny Cox, and Miguel Ferrer). His most memorable role is that of Leland Palmer, the father of murder victim Laura Palmer in the cult television series Twin Peaks.
He currently appears as Vice-President Hal Gardner on 24.
