Rapid City was a city located in South Dakota on Earth.

In the Deadwood holonovel, the sheriff and the deputy (played by Worf and Alexander Rozhenko) of Deadwood had to wait for the US Marshal from Rapid City to take Eli Hollander into custody. (TNG: "A Fistful of Datas")
