Ranous VI was the inhabited sixth planet of the Ranous system. Ensign Sonya Gomez apparently once had the opportunity to do phase work with antimatter on Ranous VI, but she turned it down, hoping instead to be posted on the USS Enterprise-D. (TNG: "Q Who")
