Ranous VI was the sixth planet of the Ranous system, and was a Federation planet. Ensign Sonya Gomez apparently once had the opportunity to do phase work with antimatter on Ranous VI, but she turned it down, hoping instead to be posted on the USS Enterprise-D. (TNG: "Q Who")
