Ranora was a Vhnori doctor. He was an assistant to Dr. Neria at the facility that helped the Vhnori go to the Next Emanation. When Harry Kim was accidentally transported in an alien burial pod to the Vhnori homeworld, Dr. Neria asked Dr. Ranora to do a detailed bioanalysis on Kim. (VOY: "Emanations")
