Randee Russell wrote the original story outline for the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode "Qpid".

Russell previously co-wrote the screenplay for the 1989 film All's Fair, which starred one-time TOS guest actress Sally Kellerman. She later wrote the screenplay and co-wrote the story for the 1993 film Face the Music.
