Crewman Ramos was a 24th century Starfleet security officer aboard the USS Enterprise-D under Captain Jean-Luc Picard.
In 2364, he was responsible for guarding the Klingon fugitives Korris and Konmel in a holding cell. When the two Klingons built a Klingon disruptor from parts of their uniforms and disabled the force field, Ramos contacted the bridge and tried to stop the Klingons but was killed by a disruptor blast. (TNG: "Heart of Glory")
Ramos was portrayed by stunt actor Dennis Madalone who would work as stunt coordinator for the series beginning with season three.
