AT: "xx"

Captain Ramirez was a Starfleet officer in command of the Intrepid in the 22nd century.

In 2153, the Intrepid, under Ramirez's command, assisted the returning Enterprise NX-01 in defending themselves against an attacking Klingon-Bird-of-Prey commanded by Duras, along with two other Starfleet vessels. (ENT: "The Expanse")

In 2165 of an alternate timeline in which Earth had been destroyed by the Xindi in 2153, the Intrepid was one of a handful of Earth vessels protecting the new Human colony on Ceti Alpha V. In this year, Ramirez was about to stand down as commanding officer of the Intrepid, giving up his post to Malcolm Reed. Before this could take place, however, the Xindi launched an attack in an attempt to eradicate all surviving Humans. Ramirez commanded the Intrepid during this confrontation, but was forced to withdraw when they suffered serious damage to their port nacelle. The timeline in which these events occurred was negated when a series of parasites which had infected Captain Archer's hippocampus were eliminated, neutralizing their presence in the past as well, changing history in such a way as the infection never occurred. (ENT: "Twilight")

Ramirez was played by actor Josh Cruze. The novelization of the episode The Expanse gave the character's first name as Carlos and described him as being "in his early forties," during the events of the episode.
