The Rakhari were a humanoid species native to the planet Rakhar in the Gamma Quadrant.
They were reluctant to have contact with any species from the Alpha Quadrant after the discovery of the Bajoran wormhole in 2369 but had business contact with other off-world traders.
Rakhari practiced polygamous marriage. Croden had at least two wives and one daughter. (DS9: "Vortex")
