Rakhar is a planet in the Gamma Quadrant, located in the Rakhar sector. It is the homeworld of the Rakhari race. Nehelik Province is an area in the southern hemisphere of the planet. Exarch is a high level rank there.
In the 2360s, Croden spoke out against the repressive policies of the government. For doing so, Croden's family were killed.
The planet was first visited by the Federation in 2369 by a Klingon ship and later the USS Rio Grande. (DS9: "Vortex")
