The Rak-Miunis was a Kobheerian freighter, registered for travel in Federation space, commanded by Captain Viterian in 2369. That same year, the Rak-Miunis carried the passenger Aamin Marritza to Deep Space 9 from Kora II so that he could set forth his plan to force Cardassia to acknowledge its guilt over the Bajoran Occupation. In 2371, Commander Benjamin Sisko took the USS Defiant into Cardassian space with modified shield harmonics to disguise it as a Kobheerian freighter. When approached and hailed by a Galor-class warship commanded by Gul Benil, Sisko used a holofilter to disguise himself as Captain Viterian and identified his ship as the Rak-Miunis.
