Template:Realworld R!ot, also known as R!ot Pictures, is a production company located in Santa Monica, California and New York which provided digital optical effects for the Star Trek: Enterprise first season episode "Terra Nova" and for the Star Trek feature film Star Trek: Insurrection. The company is a collaboration with Encore Media and is owned by Ascent Media. [1] The company was headed by executive producer Matthew McManus and Director of Production Ada Anderson between 2006 and 2008.

The company also provided special effects and post production service to television series such as Deadwood, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Prison Break, Close to Home, Numb3rs, The Sopranos, and The Pacific and feature films such as the thriller Antitrust (2001), the comedy Monkeybone (2001), the thriller Swordfish (2001), the science fiction horror film Ghosts of Mars (2001), the science fiction film The One (2001), the science fiction remake Rollerball (2002), the horror film Queen of the Damned (2002), the horror sequel Blade II (2002), the fantasy film The Scorpion King (2002, starring The Rock), the science fiction thriller Equilibrium (2002), the science fiction sequel Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines (2003, starring Kristanna Loken), the comedy Scary Movie 3 (2003), the science fiction film Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow (2004), the action sequel Live Free or Die Hard (2007), the science fiction film Jumper (2008), the science fiction mystery sequel The X-Files: I Want to Believe (2008), and the drama Amexica (2009).
