Quadra Sigma III is the third planet in the Sigma III system and the location of a Federation colony with a population of 504. In 2364 the Sigma III colony transmitted a distress signal for urgent medical help when an accident explosion from a methane-like gas seeping from undergroud devistated a mining operation there.
