Background Information
Edit

- The cover of this issue reads "Q Effects!", but the actual title of the issue on the title page is "Q Affects!", as can be seen in the image to the right.
- The stardate of this story sets it early in the second season, but a timeline published by DC Comics, changes the stardate of the story to 41198.7 so as to account for the appearance of Beverly Crusher, Natasha Yar, and William T. Riker without a beard. This story is set between "Encounter at Farpoint" and "The Naked Now".
