Pyritic radiation is a type of radiation that the Vulcans claimed emanated from the Xindi probe. In reality, there had been no radiation exposure, and its existence was part of a ruse concocted by Ambassador Soval, and Doctor Fer'at to gauge Captain Jonathan Archer's sanity. (ENT: "The Expanse")
