Purseronite was a chemical element listed on the Table of Elements. It was a member of the Hypersonic series. (TNG: "Rascals")
The element Purseronite had the symbol "Tm" which is the same atomic symbol used for Thulium.
The elements in the table included in-jokes to the production staff. (Star Trek: The Next Generation Companion) This element was named after construction worker Tom Purser.
