Prak's Marauder, firing on the Enterprise-D.

Prak's Marauder was a D'kora class commanded by DaiMon Prak in 2370.

Around stardate 47300 this Ferengi trader passed through the Hekaras Corridor, where it detected what appeared to be a Federation signal buoy. When they approached it, it emitted a massive verteron pulse, disabling the ship's warp drive, sensors, and communications systems.

A week later the ship was discovered by the USS Enterprise-D, who suspected the ship of hijacking the USS Fleming. Limited to impulse power only, it "played dead" until the Enterprise was within range, when it opened fire, inflicting minor damage.

After discussing the situation, the crew of the Enterprise offered to assist in the ship's repairs, in exchange for sensor logs on the Fleming, which it had passed several days earlier. (TNG: "Force of Nature")

Despite the Ferengi Marauder appearing in several episodes over a period of several years prior to this appearance, Prak's Marauder was the first ship to be specifically identified as a D'kora-class starship.
