Potak cold fowl was a very rare beverage made from the glandular secretions of the dunghill bird of Potak III. It had a smoky flavor that went well with strong, meaty dishes. As of 2372, there were believed to be only 27 bottles in existence.

Neelix possessed a bottle of Potak cold fowl, which he proposed to share with Tom Paris after their mission to "Planet Hell", in celebration of the successful return of a Repto-humanoid infant to its parent. (VOY: "Parturition")
