Porter is the last name of an actor who worked as a background performer on Star Trek: The Next Generation. He featured as an operations division officer in the first season episodes "The Big Goodbye", "Angel One", "When The Bough Breaks", and "Heart of Glory". Porter filmed his scenes in the transporter room in "Angel One" on Thursday, 12 November 1987 on Paramount Stage 9. He also appeared as a Starbase 74 technician in the episode "11001001".
