23 February 2014: The Blu-ray release of Star Trek Into Darkness won the Satellite Award in the category Best Overall Blu-ray at the 18th Annual Satellite Awards. [1]

18 February 2014: StarTrek.com reports that Paramount Parks will open a theme park in Alhama de Murcia, Spain, with a Star Trek-themed Plaza Futura area. It will open by the end of 2015. Main/Panels/News at StarTrek.com

15 February 2014: Cliff Bole, who directed episodes in three different Star Trek series, passed away at the age of 76. [2]
