Porakas IV was the fourth planet in the Porakas system, located in the Delta Quadrant.
In 2373, the USS Voyager visited this planet and picked up some Porakan eggs here, which Neelix later served Tuvok. (VOY: "Flashback")
According to the Star Trek: Star Charts (pg. 85), the Porakas system was located in non-aligned space, in the Delta Quadrant. This system was a binary star system. Primary was a Class G star with a magnitude of +3, which was ten times the brightness of Sol. The USS Voyager contacted this system on stardate 50074.
