The Polonians are a spacefaring race from the Delta Quadrant.

In 2376, the Polonians purchased "Federation membership" from a trio of con artists led by Dala, aka "Captain Janeway" of the USS Voyager. They revealed this fact during a later battle with the starship captain Varn, who had also done business with "Janeway". (VOY: "Live Fast and Prosper")
