A police record or criminal record is a general term for a compiled database that includes a record of crimes, reported by police or security officers, that an individual has committed or has been accused of committing. These are also sometimes known as security files.

The Angosians had no police record of the genetically altered solider Roga Danar. (TNG: "The Hunted")
The security officer aboard Deep Space 9 kept track of criminal activities aboard the space station known as criminal activity reports. (DS9: "Heart of Stone")
