A plasma bomb was a type of plasma explosive used by the Turei and their allies, around 1484.

In 1484, the Turei and their allies used these plasma weapons in a massive orbital bombardment of the Vaadwaur homeworld, nearly wiping out the Vaadwaur species and rendering the surface uninhabitable through radiation. (VOY: "Dragon's Teeth")
