Peter Lawford was a popular 20th century Human actor and Las Vegas entertainer during Earth's 1960s. Peter was so popular, in fact, he was included in the holosuite program Bashir 62, a 24th century rendition of 1962. At the time, he was close friends with Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis, Jr., and Joey Bishop.

That year, Vic Fontaine interrupted a heart-to-heart he was having with Quark, because he and his lady friend, Ginger, were on their way out to see Peter and Jimmy perform at the Sands Hotel. (DS9: "What You Leave Behind")

According to the Star Trek Encyclopedia (4th ed., vol. 1, p. 457), the birth and death years of Peter Lawford were 1923 and 1984, respectively. Lawford, Sinatra, Martin, Davis and Bishop were together members of the legendary Rat Pack. Lastly, Lawford was a brother-in-law and confidante of John F. Kennedy.
