The pelvis was a basin-shaped structure of the skeleton, composed of the innominate bones on the sides.
In 2372, Vidiians who were invading a duplicate of the USS Voyager extracted Kes' pelvic ridge in order to analyze her bone marrow for resistance to the phage. (VOY: "Deadlock")
